KStrong® 3 ft. Manual Shock Absorbing Rope Grab Assembly (ANSI)
The KStrong® 3 ft. Manual Shock Absorbing Rope Grab Assembly is a safety essential for rope access and fall protection applications, offering both performance and compliance. Designed to meet or exceed ANSI Z359.1-2007 standards, this assembly provides a reliable, controlled solution for vertical mobility on lifelines.
This assembly integrates a shock pack (PN 500) with a manual rope grab and includes a snap hook for secure attachment. It features a 1.73” (44 mm) wide tear webbing that efficiently absorbs energy in the event of a fall, significantly reducing the impact forces on the user. A secondary 1.73” polyester backup strap adds redundancy and is stitched around the tear webbing’s free end, forming durable attachment loops.
The entire unit is neatly folded and encased in a thick polyethylene sleeve with synthetic labeling for durability and easy inspection. High-tenacity polyester stitching ensures lasting strength, while the polyester webbing offers a minimum breaking strength of 6,000 lbs (2,722 kg), providing confidence in demanding environments.
Weighing just 2.60 lbs (1,179 gm), the KStrong® rope grab assembly is lightweight yet robust—ideal for professionals who require reliable fall protection in construction, tower climbing, and industrial maintenance.
