Morse 55-Gallon Drum Spotter

Made in the USA, this Drum Spotter from Morse is suitable for use with the following rimmed drums:

With an outstanding lifting capacity of 800lbs, each unit is fitted with two 6" polyolefin load wheels with roller bearings and two 4" rear swivel castors for easy steering, while the built-in counterbalance provides perfect stability when loading, transporting, and lowering loads.

Effective operation in 4 easy steps:

1: To Lift a Drum - Roll the Drum Spotter to the corner of a pallet. Position handle so hooks are positioned below the drum rim. Pull down handle to lift the drum clear of the pallet. Dual ratchets hold up the drum when handle is pulled down. The operator then holds zero weight and does not need to balance the drum spotter. Drum stays upright ready to be wheeled away.

2: To lower drum - The operator pushes down and uses the two-hand operated release which allows the handle to rise. The length of the handle provides leverage to manage the descent of the drum gently.

3: Steel Hooks - release their hold after the drum settles on the floor or pallet.

4: Lifting Handle - The handle of the Drum Spotter is conveniently held up yu a gas spring. The ratchets stop the handle in position for the operator to take hold and use it. These ratchets also hold the weight of the drum when lifted.
