RUD ROV-Hooks
ROV Hooks are a critical piece of equipment in subsea and oil & gas projects, often miles of shore and up to water depths of 10,000ft. They facilitate the safe lifting and lowering of loads on decks and underwater, where conditions are typically unpredictable and present huge challenges - Well, RUD ROV-Hooks are up to that challenge, developed to make lifting processes safer, more efficient, and easier.
Available in 10t and 25t capacities, RUD ROV-Hooks have been designed to eliminate the risk of snagging, courtesy of the smooth outer profile with no protruding hook nose.
Fitted with an outward opening safety latch, which also eliminates dropped loads as it automatically closes and locks when the ROV releases the triggers, RUD ROV-Hooks can be operated aby all commonly used ROB manipulators, such as the grabber.
Furthermore, the innovative hook design minimises the time the ROV takes to carry out the attachment and detachment operations, improving productivity in scenarios where time could be of the essence.
