Manufactured from solid steel, long and reliable service is guaranteed, with outriggers stabilizing loads during the lifting phase.
Designed features of these heavy-duty pipe grabs include a convenient auto engage capability, lifting capacity up to 40ft in length, wings that stabilize loads during lifts, no blocking required, all proof tested for 200% of working load limit with accompanying certification, and are all fully ASME B30.20 compliant.
Do's and Don'ts
- DO inspect lifter before each use for loose or worn components.
- DO lower grab onto pipe slowly and seat fully on pipe prior to attempting lift.
- DO lift slowly and verify level, balanced lift is occurring.
- DO NOT use grab with worn or loose components.
- DO NOT jerk load or bump load into obstructions.
- DO NOT drag load or grab on ground or other surface.
- DO NOT allow lifted load to tilt to an angle of greater than 15° from the horizontal during handling.
- DO NOT use grab for lifting material of smaller or larger O.D than specified.
- DO NOT lift or transport load over people.
- Lifts up to 40ft pipe sections
